The village of Kiten is situated in a peninsula, surrounded by two magnificent bays. The population is of about 900
people and the village is located 55 km to the south of Bourgas city, 3 km south of Primorsko. Kiten has two beaches,
in the north: Kiten Altiman and in the south: Kiten Yug. The north beach has fine sand and is located at the far
end of the bay.
The south beach is more than 1 km long and is situated in the Urdovitsa bay. To the south it reaches to the Kiten River
that is rich in fish species.

The modern village of Kiten arose as a settlement in the 6th century BC. In this area Romans built up an ancient
fortress called Urdovitsa.

Today Kiten is a modern sea resort with numerous hotels, rooms and holiday houses. At disposal of the guests are
also restaurants, pizza huts, cafes, night clubs and disco clubs.

To the south of the village on the sea shore are located several camps - Koral, Kiten, Yug, Arapya,
Nestinarka and Oasis.
