Silistar

5 km south of the Sinemorets village, on the road to Rezovo village, is situated the last beach strip
before the Bulgarian boarder with Turkey.

A 1 km long black road, winding about a forest, leads to a large parking lot. A little past the park, there is a
fine view. Silistar is probably the most beautiful bay in the Black Sea. The sea is calm and the water is crystal clear.
The beach strip is about 1 km long and around 50 m wide. It is covered with golden sands and gently slopes into the sea.
Tourists can get cool in the cafй, situated in the end of the beach strip.

Rare and protected bird species such as Imperial eagle, Black stork, Special Dove, etc nestle in the rocks
and the dunes around Silistar. Sand lily grows on the beach. Silistar has been declared a protected area since 1992.
